The Google SandBox
The Google Sandbox is a term used to describe some observed time-delay effects that many people report experiencing
during the course of their SEO work. Although the term Google Sandbox is common, the general concensus is that
all the major search engines have similar constructs.
Google Sandbox - What does it mean to me?
Sometimes when you optimize a page, goglebot (or another crawler) will pick the changes up quickly,
but any change in ranking within the SERPs may take place over a much longer period of time. The effect
is often most visible in the case of new sites, which may struggle to rank well initially.
One thing is clear....the longer your site has been up the better, so get going :)
